Come and enjoy these free Carnival Workshops this summer. You’ll learn exciting new skills, have loads of fun and take part in Ryde’s wonderful Carnival processions.

At Department in Cross Street
Wed 24th Aug – 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm
Thurs 25th Aug – 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm
Fri 26th Aug – 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm
Sat 27th Aug – 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm
at Department in Cross street, Ryde to make large, detailed flowers, inspired by Charles Dimmick. The flowers will be attached to a wheeled structure that will move through the streets of this year’s Ryde Carnival
You can book more than one session. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Sewing seeds of Ryde celebrates Charles Dimmick, a Victorian nurseryman who ran several businesses in Ryde town centre – his plants were supplied to Osborne House for Queen Victoria.
